- A book published by the Army and Navy Publishing Company in Baton Rouge, Louisiana documenting the United States Third Air Force Staging Wing at Hunter Field, in Savannah, Georgia. Conversion of the Savannah Municipal Airport to military use began in August 1940, becoming Hunter Field in 1942. The Savannah Municipal Airport Terminal was converted to the Base Operations Building, and between March 1943 and V-E Day (May 8, 1945). The book is complete with illustrations, photographs, and descriptions of the United States Third Air Force Staging Wing located at Hunter Field.
