Photograph of three African American women standing around wash tubs. The first woman stands behind a wash tub, the second woman washes clothes and the third woman watches with her hands folded together. The three women are behind a cabin in the middle of the woods. Tree limbs and logs can be seen throughout the photograph. A cauldron sits in front of the women. The women stand under what seems to be a makeshift shelter or clothesline.
