For everything there is an appointed season,
And a time for everything under heaven... *
Thelma Robinson entered into rest on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at
Augusta University Medical Center surrounded by her nieces and nephews.
Thelma was born on June 30,1941, in Burke County, to the late Willie and
Agnes Gilchrist.
When I come to the end of my journey,
And I travel my last weary mile,
Justforget if you can, that I ever frowned,
And remember only the smile.

And remember I've had loads of fun.
SELECTION
Reverend Robert Lynch
Thelma, affectionately known as Sue, enjoyed cooking, surrounding herself
with family and friends, and talking on the phone. She was a devoted
mother and Caregiver to Cyrene, who was the light of her life. Sue will
be remembered for her infectious laugh, warm smile, and her loving heart.
Sue never met a stranger and was willing to help anyone in need. She even
left a lasting impression on the Augusta University staff who cared for her
up until her final days. The nurses described her as feisty, sociable, and an
absolute sweetheart. We celebrate knowing she is with God and family
gone before her. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and others
whose lives she touched.
Thelma is survived by: daughter, Cyrene Searcey; companion, Michael
Webb, both of Augusta, GA; three nieces, Terry (James) Dunbar of
Martinez, GA, Theresa (Pierre) Hill of Evans, GA, and Belinda Lee-Clark
of Dorchester, MA; seven nephews, Miller Gilchrist, Jr. of Augusta, GA,
