OBITUARY
Deacon John Calvin Leverett passed
into eternal rest August 17, 1967 after
an extended illness.
He was born on July 4, 1891 in
Appling, Ga., Columbia, County. His parents
were Dea. and Mrs. Calvin Leverett and he^
was baptized at lampkin Grove Baptist Chuch
by the Rev, W, G. Jones in 1910. /V
After moving to Augusta, Ga. he
married Miss Mary Lou Xjutjsrefck Dunn and u-
nited with the Elim Baptist Church, where
he was ordained to the Board of Deacons
and became a faithful member of the Senior
Choir, Sunday school and B.T.U.
He leaves to mourn his passing a
loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Leverett,
two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Garnett, Miss Melinda
Leverett, three brothers, Mr. Charlie Leverett,
Mr. Anthony Leverett, and Dea. Peter Leverett,
four sisters-in-1aw and a host of other
relatives.
