He was born on July 4, 1891 in Appling, Ga., Columbia, County. His parents were Dea. and Mrs. Calvin Leverett and he^ was baptized at lampkin Grove Baptist Chuch by the Rev, W, G. Jones in 1910. /V After moving to Augusta, Ga. he married Miss Mary Lou Xjutjsrefck Dunn and u- nited with the Elim Baptist Church, where he was ordained to the Board of Deacons and became a faithful member of the Senior Choir, Sunday school and B.T.U. He leaves to mourn his passing a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Mary Lou Leverett, two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Garnett, Miss Melinda Leverett, three brothers, Mr. Charlie Leverett, Mr. Anthony Leverett, and Dea.
