Hymn...................It is Well With My Soul....................Congregation
When peace like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say
It is well; it is well, with my soul.
(Chorus) It is well (it is well) with my soul.
It is well; it is well with my soul.
Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come.
Let this blest assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate,
And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

Bessie Bess Pearl Williams Cunningham, surrounded by her family,

the age of 63. She was a lifelong resident of Augusta, GA and spent the last
10 years in Atlanta, GA to be closer to family. She was the daughter of the
late Daisy M. and Thomas Williams. As she entered into her eternal rest,
Bess Cunningham joined her late brother, Thomas Williams, Jr.
She was the devoted mother of Maria Elise Cunningham Hill (Sam). Bess
was the loving grandmother of Alexander and Skylar Hill. She is survived
by her siblings, Anita, Myra, Eugene, Earl and Albert Williams. She is also
survived by an aunt (Thelma Fugghette), niece, nephew and many cousins.
Bess was a lover of life.
She enjoyed traveling and singing around the world. If you listen carefully,
you can still hear her angelic voice singing with a choir of angels.
Her sense of humor and feisty personality will forever be remembered.
Bess Cunningham was a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. and
enjoyed ministering to others by using her voice.
