Miller, HI, Pastor ~ Family RepastFellowship Hall ~ Bessie Bess Pearl Williams Cunningham, surrounded by her family, peacefully departed this life the evening of Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the age of 63. She was a lifelong resident of Augusta, GA and spent the last 10 years in Atlanta, GA to be closer to family. She was the daughter of the late Daisy M. and Thomas Williams. As she entered into her eternal rest, Bess Cunningham joined her late brother, Thomas Williams, Jr. She was the devoted mother of Maria Elise Cunningham Hill (Sam). Bess was the loving grandmother of Alexander and Skylar Hill. She is survived by her siblings, Anita, Myra, Eugene, Earl and Albert Williams. She is also survived by an aunt (Thelma Fugghette), niece, nephew and many cousins. Bess was a lover of life. She enjoyed traveling and singing around the world. If you listen carefully, you can still hear her angelic voice singing with a choir of angels. Her sense of humor and feisty personality will forever be remembered. Bess Cunningham was a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. and enjoyed ministering to others by using her voice.
