The Northwest Airways is the pioneer air line in the Northwest and has a record
of continuous operation since Sept. 1, 1926. It carries U. S. Air Mail, Express, and Pas-
sengers on regular schedule and flies approximately 5,000 miles per day.
Its tickets are on sale at its branch offices listed on page 10 and at the principal hotels and
travel agencies and at all Postal Telegraph offices throughout the country.

GENERAL INFORMATION
RESERVATIONS may be made at the ticket offices of
any of the associated railroads, at travel bureaus and leading
hotels and at all Postal Telegraph offices. Accommodations on
Northwest Airways planes may be definitely insured by purchasing
tickets in advance. Cancellations will be accepted and full
refund made on telegraphic notice if received six hours before
the departure of planes.
BAGGAGE Thirty pounds of hand baggage, not exceeding the
following dimensions: 15"*20"^36" will be transported on air
plane free of charge. Any baggage accepted in excess will
be charged for at the rate of one-half of one per cent of the
passenger fare per pound, subject to minimum of 25 cents.
Arrangements for excess weight or dimension must be made in
advance. The right is reserved to limit baggage to 50 pounds
per person.
CHILDRENS FARES Children under two years of age will
be carried free if held on lap of parent or guardian. Children
occupying seats or children over two years of age will be
required to pay full fare.
THESE TIME TABLES show the time at which planes
may be expected to arrive at and depart from stations, and to
connect with other planes or trains, but the company will not be
responsible for consequences arising from delays or from errors in
the printed schedule. The time shown is subject to change
without notice. The time of planes and trains via connecting
lines is published as public information; great care is taken to
keep it correct, but the company will not be responsible for any
errors or omissions therein.
STEWARD SERVICE Uniformed stewards, trained especially
to care for the comfort of passengers, are in attendance on the
Chicago-Twin Cities route. Ask them for any information
desired.
EQUIPMENT The equipment of the Northwest Airways, Inc.,
ships, motors and instruments, is modern in all respects and
maintained at all times in strictly first-class condition. United
States Air Mail is carried on all regular scheduled flights in a
special compartment, apart from the passengers.
LOST ARTICLES Inquiries regarding lost articles left by pas-
sengers on planes, should be referred to the Holman Municipal
Airport, St. Paul, Minn.
TO AND FROM AIRPORTS. For the convenience of our
patrons the Northwest Airways will be glad to arrange for bus
or taxi transportation at reasonable charge to the passenger
if notice is given pilot or steward before departure of plane.
