- During an oral history interview on August, 18, 1982, Mrs. Kate J Perkins describes her husband's occupation in law enforcement, her family history, and commuinity churches. Perkins disucusses other local Cairo families including the Connell family and Haren family. She talks about her personal health, and community life in early Cairo. Funding for digitization provided by the Georgia Public Library Service, a unit of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, using Library Services and Technology Act funding through the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
