- Postcard (color, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled – Blenheim Bridge. Blenheim Bridge is a wooden covered bridge that spans Schoharie Creek in New York State. It opened in 1855 with an open span of 210 feet, making it the second longest of any surviving single-span in the world. Flooding from Tropical Storm Irene destroyed the bridge in 2011. Rebuilding of the bridge was completed in 2018. Text on reverse: Sch-19 Blenheim Bridge, crossing Schoharie Creek at North Blenheim, N.Y. Longest single span, covered Wooden Bridge in the World.
