- Postcard (color, divided back, 3 ½ x 5 ½ inches) titled – Minnehaha Falls. – The Falls are a striking, wilderness waterfall that sits in present day Minnehaha Park. The Falls overlook the Mississippi River. They are located in a 193-acre park in Minneapolis. No descriptive text on reverse. Postage affixed: green Franklin one cent stamp. Postmarked August 27, 1909 Minneapolis, Minn. Card number 270. *Note: This card was published by V. O. Hammon Publishing Company, a major publisher of tricolor view-cards of the Great Lakes region. They also published novelty cards. Most of their cards tend to have a distinct look as they were printed in crisp RGB colors with small red block lettering.
