- Description:
- Postcard (color, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled Sea World.- Sea World was founded on March 21, 1964 by four graduates of the University of California, Los Angeles. Although their original idea of an underwater restaurant was not feasible at the time, the idea was expanded into a 22-acre marine zoological park along the shore of Mission Bay in San Diego. Text on reverse: Sea World’s Chicken of the Sea Theater The park-like setting and landscaping at Sea World add special charm to the enjoyment of Sea World’s attractions. Sea World’s 22-acres is dominated by the blue Theater building, set among trees and ponds. Card number 6DK-1216.
