- Postcard (color, linen texture, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled: Yachts in Biscayne Bay, Miami, Florida 29. - Biscayne Bay is a lagoon that is approximately 35 miles long and up to 8 miles wide located on the Atlantic coast of South Florida. The bay is also the location of the Port of Miami, one of the largest passenger and commercial ports of call in the world. Biscayne Bay is a dynamic and diverse marine ecosystem with mangrove shorelines, a shallow bay, developed and undeveloped islands, and living coral reefs. It forms a part of the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway. Text on reverse: Many palatial yachts drop anchor in Biscayne Bay and remain for the entire Winter Season. Postage required 1 cent stamp.
