- Postcard (color, linen texture, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled An Avenue of Royal Palms, Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida 368. - Coconut Grove, located in the heart of Miami, was founded in 1873. It is the oldest, continuously inhabited neighborhood in Miami. The area is frequently referred to as “The Grove.” Text on reverse: Coconut Grove, a suburb of Miami, lies in splendor among a setting of Palm trees, the most beautiful of all is the stately Royal Palm. Postage required 1 cent stamp. Card number 69571.
