- Postcard (color, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) featuring a frontal, street view of the Georgia Capitol building. Text on reverse: Georgia State Capitol, Atlanta. Patterned after the National Capital, this building is unique in that it cost exactly one million dollars to build. The exact sum of the original appropriation. Early in 1959, its new Golden Dome made a striking addition to the Georgia skyline. The Gold used on the dome was mined in northern Georgia. Card number GA.S 2 32038-B.
