- Postcard (color, linen textured, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled Mercer University, Macon, GA – 32. The view is that of a lovely flowered park in the foreground with three steepled buildings on the campus in the background. Text on reverse: Mercer, a Baptist co-educational institution, is over one hundred years old. Its large plant, including a theological school and a law school, faces beautiful Tattnall Square Park Mercer is one of Macon’s institutions of higher learning, the other being Wesleyan College, Methodist, which is the oldest chartered college for women in the world.
