- Postcard (color, white border, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled: Home of the Atlanta Braves National Major League Baseball Club. featuring an aerial view of the Atlanta Stadium. -The Atlanta Stadium (later renamed Atlanta Fulton County Stadium) was one of the first cookie-cutter stadiums to be built and was multipurpose in order to accommodate both football and baseball. The stadium was completed in 1965. On August 2, 1997 Atlanta Fulton County Stadium was imploded in less than 30 seconds. It is now the site of parking for Turner Field. Text on reverse: The Atlanta Stadium, Atlanta, Georgia - Home of the Atlanta Braves National Major League Baseball Club, this eighteen million dollar dual-purpose stadium is just one mile from downtown Atlanta. The stadium seats 51,500 fans for baseball or 57,100 fans for football. Located near the interchange of six legs of three interstate highways, fans within 200 miles can reach the park without once encountering a traffic light. The parking lot will hold 10,000 cars.
