- Postcard (color, linen textured, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled Atlanta Biltmore Atlanta, Georgia. The card features a street view of a multi-storied brick building. Opened on April 19, 1924, the 11-story hotel and 10-story apartment building were constructed somewhat away from downtown Atlanta, in an area that became known as Midtown. Text on reverse: The Atlanta Biltmore Atlanta, Georgia – Situated in a Four- Acre Park just beyond the skyscraper s shadows between the famed Peachtrees. The Atlanta Biltmore is known as “The Hotel with a Garden.” Postmarked Mar 4, 1952 10:30am Atlanta GA. Postage affixed - 2 cent John Adams stamp. Card number K4522.
