- Postcard (color, linen textured, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) card titled A71 - Sanford "Bull Dog" Stadium, Athens, Ga features an aerial view of the football stadium during a game. Text on reverse: The University of Georgia, established by Legislative Act in 1785, is the oldest chartered State University in the United States. Beginning with a gift of several hundred acres of land. It has grown through the years to a campus of nearly 4,000 acres. From an attendance of 38 students in its first year, its enrollment has increased to around 7,000. The main Campus of the university has many beautiful buildings and is located near the center of Athens. Card number 81396.
