- Video of National Downhome Blues Festival at the Moonsaddle Saloon in Atlanta, Georgia, part one of two. The performers are announced at the beginning of the video, and they include Dr. Ross, Sunnyland Slim, Jessy Mae Hemphill, John Seaferson and Phill Higgens, Robert Junior Lockwood, Albert Macon and Robert Thomas, Taj Mahal, Son Thomas, Henry Townsend, Homesick James and Snooky Pryor, Eddie Kirkland, Lonnie Pitchford, Precious Bryant, Booker T. Lowry, Thomas Burke, Sonny Terry, John Jackson. The musicians peform before a live audience. Between performances, a narrator speaks about the musicians, and the video includes an interview montage wherein the musicians explain what the blues means to them. The video is presented by the Georgia Folklore Society, produced by Georgia Public TV, and funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Fulton County Arts Council.
