- Description:
- Video of Little Laura Dukes, Fred Saunders, Wash Harris Cloister performing at a club, possibly Blues Alley in Memphis, Tennessee. First, a saxophonist, possibly Wash Harris Cloister, performs while accompnied by a guitarist, drummer, and organist. They play several songs, on stage in front of a wall on which hangs several framed photographs and posters. After the band finishes their set, videographer Judy McWillie can be heard speaking with a man explaining that the video is for the University of Georgia Libraries, and that she wants to capture Little Laura performing. Next Little Laura Dukes performs, and is accompanied by a band that includes trumpeter, guitar, keyboardist and saxophonist. Next, and emcee announces Fred Saunders, who performs blues songs on guitar and vocals. He appears to be accompanied by the same house band as Laura Dukes. The video switches to footage of McWillie and another women's drive through the countryside towards a house and yard containing many pieces of relogious art, the location of which is unknown.
