- Various musicians perform at the 1989 North Georgia Folk Festival in Athens, Georgia. A bluegrass group performs several songs. They are followed by Mabel Cawthorn on piano, accompanied by Art Rosenbaum on banjo. The Augusta Irish Dancers perform traditional Irish dancing. A Mexican folk group then performs mariachi music. A gospel group performs several songs. Bradley Fincher performs some body percussion. Joe Rakestraw sings and plays guitar, followed by Neal Pattman on harmonica. Bluegrass group the Foxfire Boys perform last. Between performances, Art Rosenbaum talks briefly with Mabel Cawthorn and W. Guy Bruce.
