- Letter addressed to "Mr. Ros. King" [Roswell King] from R. Grant, dated at Oatlands, St. Simons Island, June 20, 1827. Owner of Elizafield and Oatlands plantations writing to authorize King to act as his attorney in all matters for the plantations and for "all things independant of said plantations that might require my personal attention if present." King was to have full authority over the plantation overseers.
