The Epworth League met at usual hour and opened with Song and Prayer. Bro Eng acting as the chair. There was no Reports from Either of the Departments. A short talk by J C Moore in regard to Department. Bro Eng Said that all of the Dept were important and we havent got much from the Literary Dept and Religion is what we ought to Commence with. She said we ought to hold the meeting to one hour and could hold them any where. No applications for membership. Bro J C Moore Suggested that after this meeting was over that the Presd adn Committeemen meet and make out a programme.
By another and Second teh Literary Dept will meet on the first Sunday morning after the Sunday School after which we had a Song & Proyer by Brog Eng - he Gave a Short talk as to how he felt towards God after which there was a few Talks Given By the members of teh League.

Level Creek April 9 1899
The Epworth League met this evening at 3 oclock and opened with song I Am Thine Oh Lord and prayer by the Pres after which the minutes of the last meeting was read and stood approved. After which we had another song.
After then the Pres turned over the meeting to Bro Hoghs Our Pastor. After which he gave the League instructions about the Expenses of the League he said that the state League would meet at Columbus Ga the 13th of April. He said that we could build up a good League at this place as we had a good roll of members.
He told of a gentleman who was a delegate to the Epworth League in Cal. He was a widower and wanted to marry and had to be in Nashville Tenn in three days.
He told of Bishop Fitzgerald how he got his second wife. He was a delegate to conference in CAl and had to be at Nashville Tenn in the 3 days and he wanted to marry Miss Banks in Ala and he went to see her and married her. And he told of a young preacher organizing an Epworth League and getting money to build a parsonage. After which he told the colors of the League and the way for the

meetings to be carried out. He said that there were three departments and he gave instructions about the way that they meetings of each Depart should be carried out. And afterwards he read the by-laws. After which three new members were added to our Leatue. And then the time when our service should meet for our League. The League will meet at the church every Second Sunday afternoon, and every Fourth Sunday morning after Sunday school. After which he suggested that the church buy an organ and said that the League needed one to help carry on the meetings. After which the League elected Bro Guy S Hutchins as a delegate to the State League at Columbus and it was moved and seconded that the League pay the Expenses of the delegate.
Moved and seconded that we adjourn until next meeting on fourth Sunday morning.

After which he gave the League instructions about the expenses of the League, and said that the State League would meet at Columbus Ga the 13th of April and said that we could build up a good League at this place as we had a good roll of members.

Way that the meeting of each department should be carried out and afterwards be read the Bylaws of the League. After which three new members were added to our League. Mr & Mrs Guy S Hutchins and Mr Frank Bolding. And then the question was brought up, when, and how often should the League meet. The League will meet at the church twice a month, every Second Sunday afternoon, and every Fourth Sunday morning after Sunday School. Level Creek May 4 1899
The Epworth League met this afternoon at 4 oclock. First opening with song. Happy Day. 2nd Reading a Scripture from 12th chapter Hebrews & Prayer by Pres. 3rd Reading and confirming minutes of the last meeting, which was approved. 4th Reports of the Religious dept. None. No report either from the charity & hepl departs. And also no report from the Literary dept.. The meeting of the League which was to be help on every fourth Sunday was changed and will be held on the First Sunday after Sunday school. After which there was a collection took infof to pay the rest of the expenses of our delegate. $1.20 was the amount took up. After which Bro Guy S Hutchins gave the League a good talk about the League. He said there were about 500 delegates and the camp was a very large one and the Sunrise prayer meeting was grand. Dr. Lampkin gave them a good talk.
Dr. McJonah from the Cuba gave them a good talk. He said the whole Island of Cuba did not have but nine Ministers. He said that the place needed work very much. And Bishop Candler

gave them a good talk and also Mr Dubose gave the a good and interesting talk. And the meetings of the three dept were all carried on the same time. He also said that we all should take the Epworth Era as it was a good paper, and it would help us out very much in our League. After which he read a very good and interesting piece in the Christian Advocate. J C Moore said that he had a resolution for the League which is as follows. Resolve that the Epworth League tender to Bro G S Hutchins our heartfelt thanks for his gratifying report from the Epworth conference.
After which Bro Hughes gave the League a good talk about the League. He brought in the reference about the movement of an army, he said the League was moving on in this way. He gave a very good talk about each department. The rest of our program was postponed until next meeting. After which wej

The Epworth League met this afternoon at 4 oclock.

The Pres took charge of the meeting and carried it out as usual. The minutes were left unapproved. There were no reports from the Vice Presidents, and also no business of importance. The report from the delegate to the Conference was a good one. He said his trip was enjoyed very much indeed. And the meetings were the grandest things he ever saw. The camp in which they held their meetings was very large. And there were about 400 delegates there, and he met lots of strange faces. He said he saw Bishop Candler, Dr. Dubose, adn the three Vice

Presidents of the State League, and he also met several of his schoolmates, and Dr. mcDomal was there from Cuba, and said that the whole Island did not have but nine ministers and it needed Missionary work very bad. After his talk, Bro J C Moore made a Resolution which is as follows and was also adopted.

The Epworth League met this afternoon at the usual hour and the meeting was conducted by the new Pres G S Hutchins.
The meeting was opened by reading a chapter from the Bible, and prayer by teh Pres adn song by the League.
After prayer, the Pres read an interesting piece in The Epworth Era Title A friend of need.
After that the League sang another song. Next, minutes of the last meeting were read and no correction. Next reports from the Vice Pres. none; but the Literary Dept decided to meet as soon as possible; and will also meet at the home of J H Harris on Tuesday afternoon July 11 at 4:30.

July 11 1899
The Literary dept met at the home of J H Harris this afternoon and the Pres opened the meeting by reading the 4th chapter from the Epistle of John, and prayer by J C moore.
As there was only one of the committee present, the Pres made out a short program for the next meeting which is as follows.
1st All the League recite all the Books in the Old Testament only two recite at a time.
2nd and recite the first two verses of The Ten Commandments.
3rd A talk about the Wesleys before they came to America by J C Moore
4th A talk about the Wesleys after they came to America to the first church by W L Harris and
5th A talk about Methodism by G S Hutchins and last for each member to memorize teh closing exercises that are laid down in the Constitution.

The Devotional dept of the Epworth League met today after Sunday School, and the meeting was opened by reading a part of the 3rd chapter of St John, and a part of the 6th of Ephesians, and prayer by the Pres.
After which the Pres said that the programme for today was that he wanted to har from each member of the League tell his experience.
After which J R Kennedy gave the League an interesting talk, and also G S Hurchins.
He also stated as there was some misunderstanding about the time for the reference word, (which is ???) and, as the Secty called the roll of members, let each member arise and recite a verse of something as his name was called.
After which the League sang another song and prayer by G S Hutchins. After that Mrs G S Hutchins read an interesting piece about work. After which the Secty distributed the Constitutions among the members.
The League closed by reading the closing exercise that is laid down in the Constitutions.

Level Creek Aug 27 1899
The Epworth League met this afternoon at the usual hour, and the meeting was opened by singing a song and reading the 23rd Psalm, and prayer by the Pres.
After which the Pres read an interesting piece about the 23rd Psalm, in The Epworth Era Title The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
Next, the minutes of the last meeting were read, and no correction. Next. as the Sect called the roll of members, each member was required to rise and recite a verse of some kind from the Bible as his name was called.
Next, reports from each dept. First, the Devotional dept gave in an interesting report which is as follows. Report of 1st Vice President for Aug 6 1899.
League met and opened the meeting by reading scripture, song, and prayer. After which an informal service was held which resulted in telling experiences, repeating verses of scripture.
Good suggestions were offered for the spiritual uplifting of the members.
After singing some sweet songs of Zion, the League closed by the required Benediction.
I hope some good was accomplished in this meeting, and that the good seed that is being sown in this fertile

field of Gods domain will germinate, and that it may be watered by teh dews of Heaven and so cultivated by us, as laborers of Gods Vineyard that it will bring forth an abundant harvest for teh Master. The Epworth Leagues and you who are not members give your love, give us your prayers, give your time and talent in this grand and noble work for the salvation of precious souls.

Next, J C Moore stated that the reference word for his next meeting was help, and also prepare a Hymn to read, and it was also decided that the Devotional dept and the Literary should be consolidated and the program for the Literary dept is for each member to get up the Books in the New Testament.
After which the Leatue sang a song, and closed by reading the closing exercise that is laid down in the Constitution.

The business meeting of Level Creek Epworth League met at the appointed time, and opened service by reading scripture, song and prayer.
Next, minutes of the last meeting were read, and there were two corrections made by the Pres.
Next, reports from Vice Presidents. First report from 1st Vice Pres which is as follows.
Sunday Sept 3 1899
The Devotional Department of Level Creek Epworth League met at the appointed time and opened service by reading scripture, song and prayer.
After which the reference word was repeated by a majority of the members present.
The reference word was (Help)
2nd Repeating the books of the New Testament only 8 of the members responded. After which a selected Hymn was read by each member the sentiments of each was elevating and for our spiritual uplifting.
Good talks was given in behalf of the spiritual interest of the League. The meeting seemingly was enjoyed by all present.
Let us put on the whole Armour of God and the Victory will be ours. Reference word for the next devotional meeting is (Love).
