- Postcard features a color image of the Hotel Arlington located on South Main and Spring streets in Gainesville, GA. The building was built in 1882, was damaged by the 1936 tornado, and remodeled and reopened in 1938. When first built, the Arlington was the only hotel in the business district of Gainesville.
