- This is an appraisement for the estate of Thomas M. and Elizabeth B. Mann. It distributes 13 enslaved people among four heirs. Robert E. Mann is to receive Martha, a 26 year old woman and her infant child, $1500, and Jordan, a 7 year old boy, $600. James L. Mann is to receive two men, Arch, a 45 year old man, $1200; and Arthur, a 27 year old man, $1600. Thomas H.H. Mann is to receive Clarissa, a 35 year old woman and her infant child, $1250; Margaret, a 10 year old girl, $850; and Mary, an 8 year old girl, $700. Sarah E. Mann is to receive Wash, a 28 year old man, $1700, and Jinney, a 7 year old girl, $700. Robert J. Mann is to receive Tyler, an 18 year old man, $1600, and Franklin (Frank), a 7 year old boy, $700.
