- This estate document pertains to the estate of Theodore G. Sledge, who died leaving behind six enslaved men and women, Maria, Lucinda, Spencer, Hester, Minerva, and Francey, and fifteen hundred and thirty-six dollars of Confederate currency. Several family members sought legal action, but the case was dismissed in November 1864.
