- Description:
- Interior photo of Beath-Dickey House in Inman Park, Atlanta. Originally built in 1890 for John M. Beath, owner of the Georgia Ice Company, the Queen Anne-style residence was sold to John R. Dickey, an officer of the Guarantee Trust and Banking Company, who owned the home in the 1910s and 1920s. In 1969, interior designer Robert (Bob) Griggs and his partner Robert Aiken purchased, renovated, and restored the building, initiating a movement across the Inman Park neighborhood to purchase and restore older homes that had become dilapidated. Variant names include: Beath-Dickey House
Beath-Dickey-Griggs House. See ref # 73000621 (Inman Park) and ref # 01000973 (Inman Park Historic District Boundary Increase) https://www.nps.gov/subjects/nationalregister/upload/national-register-listed-20240710.xlsx - External Identifiers:
