- Bonar Hall is a Georgian manor house built in 1832 on the edge of John Byne Walker (1805-1884)'s plantation. The house was used as a Confederate hospital following the Battle of Chickamauga (see the Athens Banner-Herald, September 8, 1957, (page 6)). Variant names include: Bonar Hall.
