- Description:
- Staci Catron was born in 1970 in Etowah, Tennessee. She is a graduate of Agnes Scott College. Catron has been involved in left-wing political movements since the 1980s. She currently works as a library director at the Atlanta History Center.
In this interview, Staci Catron begins by talking about her family's and her own liberal political views, and the political activities in which she has participated. Catron discusses the issues that are most important to her. She describes her experience at the Atlanta March for Social Justice and Women, including the diversity of the crowd, chants she heard, and marching with a group of fellow Agnes Scott College students and alumnae. She talks about the political activities in which she has participated since the march ended, and discusses her hopes that there will be more, similar marches, and her fear that white supremacy is undergoing a resurgence in the United States under the Trump administration. - Metadata URL:
