- Marie D. Head is the President/CEO of Head Miller Associates, LLC, a real estate consultant firm and a partner with Madderra, Cazalot and Head, a real estate mortgage banking firm. She served as a political appointee in the Obama Administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Multifamily Programs at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Prior to that she served as President/CEO of Prudential Huntoon Paige Associates, Inc. Marie and her husband Don Miller have three children and two grandchildren. They live in Talking Rock, Ga.
In this interview, Marie Head begins by discussing her early life and providing an overview of her career. She talks about attending the Women's March on Washington with her stepdaughter, including discussing her favorite signs, chants, and speakers, expressing surprise and appreciation at the size of the crowd and the scope of the worldwide marches, and meeting other marchers from different places. Head expresses hope for the future, and talks about the various ways she has become involved in politics by joining local groups. Throughout the interview, Head discusses the different political views of her friends and family, and how those views have influenced her relationships. - Metadata URL:
