Spirit was high this year on the hardwood floor

players to carry the school colors.

Bill Domen broke school record with 44 points.
He also was named to conference All-Star Team.

Another outstanding player was Andy Schwitter

Christinas Tournament Proves to be Jag's Present

The first annual Christmas tournament, spon-
sored by Augusta College, proved to be accepted
with enthusiasm by fans. With holiday spirit in
the air Augusta College, College of Charleston,
St. Andrews and Piedmont put on one of the
finest tourneys seen in this area. Due to excellent
planning by Coach Vanover Augusta College will
stage this tournament as an annual event for
Christmas holidays.

it appeared that Augusta College was a sure
favor in the tournament after soundly beating
St. Andrews 81-71 but disaster struck in the finals
against Piedmont. By losing 72-54 to Piedmont,
Augusta College had to settle for 2nd place. It
should be mentioned that Piedmont and College
of Charleston are four-year colleges.

Congratulations to Coach Vanover and his fine
Augusta College Jaguars!!

Last minute review of strategy for tournament.

Coach Vanover receives second place tropfiy for AC while the
Piedmont coach accepts first place for his team.
