Pebble Hill Plantation was established around the same time Thomasville and Thomas County were founded. Over the years, additions were made to the original house until it tragically burned in 1934. Most of the original house was lost, but rebuilding began immediately. The two story brick house was completed in 1936, and it presently functions as a house museum. - Local Identifier:
