The Boys Ranch, located near Hahira in Lowndes County, is a facility for boys to experience the outdoor life of South Georgia. Over four hundred acres and five cottages offer boys plenty of room to grow into well-rounded young men. The facility opened in 1960 and later merged with two other youth camps. The camp is a non-profit organization and is run by the Sheriff's Association of Georgia. - Local Identifier:
