The Mackey House in Augusta, Georgia was named after a person thought to be its original owner during the American Revolution. In 1975 it was proven that the house was in fact built by Ezekiel Harris, a tobacco merchant. The house is now known as the Ezekial Harris House and is operated as a museum by the Augusta Museum of History. - Local Identifier:
