- Description:
- Draft sermon written by Reverend Henry Newton discoursing on the history and function of different modes of baptism. Newton shows how baptism has seen much controversy and variation in mode through time and reveals historical precedents throughout the Bible. Through this history, he shows that circumstances change but the prime sacramental ordinance is always the same: a purifcation for sin and a separation, via water, from death to a life with God.
