- This 5" x 7" black-and-white photograph shows the "Sisters of the Swish" with a horse-drawn buggy during the Worth County Centennial Celebration in Sylvester, Worth County, Georgia in October of 1953. The women from left to right are: Louise Johnston, an unknown lady, Oyt Powell with Carol Powell (little girl), Louise Davis, an unknown lady, Florrie davis with Sharon Davis (little girl), and two other unknown ladies. This photograph was commissioned by the Worth County Centennial Commission and was taken by Bell Photography out of Sylvester, Georgia. Funding for this project provided by Georgia HomePLACE, a unit of the Georgia Public Library Service.
