A cknowledgemen ts
Theres an open gate at the end of the road
Through which each must gone alone,
And there in a light we cannot see
Our Father claims his own;
Beyond the gate, our loved one
Finds happiness and rest
And there is comfort in the thought
That a loving God knows best.

A cknowledgemen ts
Ive done my best
Ive sung my song
Ive done some good
Ive done some wrong,
Now I shall go, and take my stand.
To be with him in that unknown land.
He knows my heart and every thought.
He knows what pain and joy Ive brought.
And by His love, I have been taught.
That one day I must go.
He knows my soul is weak and blind;
So full of fear with a troubled mind,
And so goodnight Ive stood the test.
Ill go with Him, I need some rest.
