August 8, 1935 January 18, 1995 Mr. Johnel Butler Obituary The Order of Service Acknowledgements Mr. Johnel Butler was born to the late Buelah Smith Murphy and John B. Butler on August 8, 1935 in Tatt- nall County, Georgia. He departed this life on Wednes- day, January 18, 1995 at Claxton Nursing Home, Clax- ton, Georgia. At an early age he joined New Bethel Bap- tist Church, Manassas (Tar City) Georgia. He was a member of the Gladiator Club, Inc. He served faithfully on various committees of the club. He retired from Clax- ton Coca-Cola Bottling Company after serving for 33 years. He joined in Holy Matrimony to Miss Louise McNeal on January 25, 1958 and to this union seven children were born; two sons who has proceeded him in death. Johnel leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Louise Butler, Daisy, G*a.; tifree sons, Michael (Tony) Butler, Reidsville, Shinkino (Shawn) Butler, Norfolk, Va., and Gregory Holmes, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; three daughters, Johnnie Mae Dixon, Margaret Smith, and Francina Butler, all of Claxton; one brother, the Rev. Eugene Murphy, Claxton; two sisters-in-law, Bertha Mur- phy, Claxton, and Fannie Mae Murphy, Manassas; one son-in-law, Dea. Clarence Smith; one daughter-in-law, Gail Butler, Claxton; fifteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
