OBITUARY
Mr. James Boggs was born in Claxton, Georgia
on March 4,1948 to Mr. Leona Boggs and Mrs. Irene
Porter Boggs. He departed this hfe on January 9,1989
at Candler County Hospital after a short illness. He
joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church at an ear-
ly age. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Leona Boggs, Claxton, Georgia; two
daughters, Ms. Lisa Hendrix, Register, Georgia, and
Ms. Hope Denise Boggs, Savannah, Georgia; three
sons, Myron James Boggs, Jeremell C. Boggs and
Kenta Boggs, all of Savannah, Georgia; one grandson,
Antonio Cone, Register, Georgia; two sisters, Mrs.
Gloria Dean Knight, Atlanta, Georgia, and Mrs.
Genora B. CoUins, Claxton, Georgia; one brother, Ben-
nie Lee Boggs, Savannah, Georgia; eight aunts, four
uncles, five brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, and a
host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
The call was short
