He departed this hfe on January 9,1989 at Candler County Hospital after a short illness. He joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church at an ear- ly age. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leona Boggs, Claxton, Georgia; two daughters, Ms. Lisa Hendrix, Register, Georgia, and Ms. Hope Denise Boggs, Savannah, Georgia; three sons, Myron James Boggs, Jeremell C. Boggs and Kenta Boggs, all of Savannah, Georgia; one grandson, Antonio Cone, Register, Georgia; two sisters, Mrs. Gloria Dean Knight, Atlanta, Georgia, and Mrs. Genora B. CoUins, Claxton, Georgia; one brother, Ben- nie Lee Boggs, Savannah, Georgia; eight aunts, four uncles, five brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
