after a short illness.
At an early age he joined the St. John Missionary Baptist
Church. He was a carpenter and a veteran of the Korean

County Court.
Surviving are his sister Mrs. Mae Frances Bailey; a
brother, Charles L. Bailey of Claxton; an uncle, Holbrook
Foreman of Lake Wales, Fla.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Earlean
G. Bailey of Claxton; two nephews. Dr. Ronald W. Bailey of
Oxford, Miss, and Linell A. Bailey of Athens; one niece, Mrs.

Its never easy, but go one must
When come the day, the hour;
Its never easy but we trust
God will give strength and power
Its never easy but take Gods hand
And pray till night has passed;
Just trust, not ask to understand
And peace will come at last.

NOTE:
Its not what we say with our lips that
amounts,
Its the great value you gave on our way,
Its the many loads that you lifted, the dark
clouds you rolled away.
Its the visits, the flowers, the kind words
and prayers
Its to you that we are grateful
Its you who said, We Care.
God Bless You,
The Family
