OBITUARY
Mrs. Ruby Mae Davis Dixon was born in Evans County,
Georgia, November 12,1954 to Mrs. Francina Davis and the
late John Flenry Davis.
She departed this life April 12, 1980 in Orlando, Fla.
She joined the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at an early
age. She was educated in the Evans County public school
system.
After moving to Orlando, Fla., she married Mr, Joel
Dixon and united herself with the Shallow Baptist Church.
She leaves to morn her passing, her husband, Mr. Joel
Dixon, 1 son, Mr. Runaka Dixon; mother, Mrs. Francina
Davis; 3 sisters - Mrs. Annie Ruth Collins, Mrs. Allie Mae
King and Miss Jo Ann Davis, all of Claxton, Ga.; 7 brothers -
Mr. Billy Davis and Mr. Reginald Davis, Claxton, S.G.T.
John Flenry Davis, Jr., Columbus, Ga., Pvt. Ernest Davis, El
Paso, Texas, Mr. Darvell Davis, Mr. Flarper Davis and Mr.
George Davis, all of Orlando, Fla.; 3 sisters-in-law; 1
brother-in-law; 3 aunts; 1 uncle; nieces; nephews and other
relatives and friends.
I live for those who loved me.
For those who knew me true
For the Fleavens that smile above me.
And awake my coming too.
For the cause that lacks assistance
For the future in the distance
And the good that I can do
