She departed this life April 12, 1980 in Orlando, Fla. She joined the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at an early age. She was educated in the Evans County public school system. After moving to Orlando, Fla., she married Mr, Joel Dixon and united herself with the Shallow Baptist Church. She leaves to morn her passing, her husband, Mr. Joel Dixon, 1 son, Mr. Runaka Dixon; mother, Mrs. Francina Davis; 3 sisters - Mrs. Annie Ruth Collins, Mrs. Allie Mae King and Miss Jo Ann Davis, all of Claxton, Ga.; 7 brothers - Mr. Billy Davis and Mr. Reginald Davis, Claxton, S.G.T. John Flenry Davis, Jr., Columbus, Ga., Pvt. Ernest Davis, El Paso, Texas, Mr. Darvell Davis, Mr. Flarper Davis and Mr. George Davis, all of Orlando, Fla.; 3 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; 3 aunts; 1 uncle; nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.
