April 21st left qualla Town came on to Saml [Samuel] ONeills gave him up his notes, enclosed a note Back to H P King on Mr. W Welch to have his land attached, came on that night and staid [stayed] at Hughs near fort Lindsay- seen John Kirkland and Took their notes for what they were owing at qualla Town store, Namely J H Kirland Note due

Bought a Tract of Land from Joseph Cooper Containing 200 Acres in Dist. 9- So 80 gave him My Bond to pay the State which is about [unclear text: $ ] 35.00 also gave Him a debt I held on his father for $37- making in all $72.00 Took a [illegible text] Deed from him.
Andrew Colvard Bought a Tract from Him Also & gave me his note to [unclear text: settle on ] their account $223,00
Sold the Crib of Corn Belonging to Igotagga (now lies at qualla) to Uocistu & his son, who lives down on Choah River for -- $11 00
Charged the same to them on my memorandum Book
Went on down Choah to Look at a Tract of Land Belonging to Young Ammuns in Company with [unclear text: A Colvard ] and [unclear text: F Pondexter ] did not purchase Cam [Came] on put up for the night at John Coberds on Long Creek
23 left next morning called on Percey for to pay a note I held on him, he did not pay it; seen Williams Took his note for his account $11 65
