A Bill
Appropriating a certain sum of money to defray the expense of holding a treaty with the Indians claiming lands in the state of Tennessee.
Sec. 1. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America, in Congress assembled, That a sum not exceeding twenty-five thousand, eight hundred and eighty dollars, be appropriated to defray the expense of any treaty or treaties which the President of the United States may deem expedient to hold with the Indians claiming land in the state of Tennessee.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the sum aforesaid shall be paid out of any monies in the Treasury of the United States not otherwise appropriated.
