- This document consists of an extract from the minutes of the Georgia House of Assembly session of January 12, 1782, compiled by John Wilkinson. The first extract contains a resolution appointing James Rae and Daniel McMurphy as Superintendents of Indian Affairs and recommending them to Congress as Commissioners for Indian Affairs for the Southern department. The second extract fixes their salaries.
