personly appired [personally appeared] before me Arch.. [Archibald] Nelson & being duly Sworn sayeth [saith] on oth [oath] that James Morress from jackson county is Living over the Boundry [Boundary] Line on the indin [indian] hunting ground nire [near] the alcofy him and his Famley [Family] in a tolabrel [tolerable] good Cabin & has got Cowpens & is thir [there] Keeping his stock and has ben [been] for twelv [twelve] months past } and this deponent Further sayeth [saith] that John Camp from the said County is Living on the indin [indian] hunting groun [ground] over the boundry Lin nere [boundary Line near] the alcofy in a good Cabbin [Cabin] with a punchin floore [puncheon floor] & other shelters and has got a cowpen & is thir [there] Keeping his Stock and has ben [been] for twelv [twelve] months past and and swairs thir [swears there] he mens [means] to stay & bids defiane [defiance] to the Whits [Whites] to moov [move] him if the Indens [Indians] dont and he sayth [saith] he will fight for his country untill [until] he dies } and this deponant firther sayth [deponent further saith] that James Besley from from Morgain Country is Living over the Boundry [Boundary] Line on Jacks Creek on the inden hinting groun [indian hunting ground] in a great new Bildin [Building] & waas cuting [was cutting] timber Like he waas [was] for macking [making] rails } and this deponant firther sayeth [deponent further saith] that John Henyeard Esquire from Clairk County now & acting magstrict [magistrate] for said county has got cabbins [cabins] over the boundry [boundary] Line on the inden [indian] hunting groun [ground] on turkey creek & has thir [there] got a cowpen and pairt [part] of his Famley [Family] [added text: his wife ] a tending to his Stock macking [making] butter &c [et cetera] - - -} this deponant [deponent] further sayeth [saith] that William Hanner is Keeping stock for Mr [unclear text: Nale ] over the boundry [boundary] Line on Jacks Creek on the inden [indian] hunting groun [ground] Living in a good new cabbin [cabin] & sayeth [saith] if the [they] burn it he will bild [build] another

this deponant firther sayeth [deponent further saith] that Thomas Trammel & haires Trammel has cowpens over the boundry [boundary] Line & is keeping thir [their] stocks on the inden [indian] hunting groun [ground] &C [et cetera] } this depnant Firther sayeth [deponent Further saith] that he had Latly ben [Lately been] Riding pairt [part] of the Line aganst [against] clark county and parrt [part] of Jackson whair [where] he saw sum [some] Houses and menny [many] fields on the South side of the appelachy River or boundry [boundary] Line
