- This document is a receipt for various goods, including rum, salt, tobacco, and clothing, delivered to the Creek Indians. The receipt contains entries dated June 10th and 17th, 1785 for the goods which were delivered by James Barnard to Clark Elbert and Company. The receipt is signed by Timothy Barnard. A statement on the receipt indicates that the goods were intended for the Fat King, a Creek leader, and the Indians who accompanied him on business in Savannah. This document may be related to tcc091, a legal extract in which funds were appropriated to pay the Fat King, and others, for their recent cooperation.
