Oct. 19th. 1836
Sir

its march to Tallahassee -- As I have no officer disposable, I beg of you to appoint an officer to muster them into service. Arms, ammunition, camp equipage &c [et cetera] can be obtained at Columbus or Fort Mitchell --
With high consideration & respect, I am, Your Excellency's Most. Obdt. Svt. [Most Obedient Servant]
